How to mount heat sink to mosfet

Use nylon screws and matching nuts to mount them. You can find these at ali-express, newark, etc.
I don't think nylon screws for attaching to a heatsink would be a good idea. You need to be able to apply plenty of pressure between the component and the heatsink which you can't do with a nylon screw. If you need insulation then use an insulating kit designed for the job with a metal screw.

The best mounting method is a spring clip pressing the body of the device against the heat sink. The benefit is that the force does not back off, and the metal part of the transistor does not bend. Read the application notes about heat sinking and mounting them. There is a whole lot of great information there.

I've seen these used for computer processors but not for TO-220 can you share a link, please? Sounds better than the screw mounts which can certainly work loose from heat cycling.
