Will a Fish Tank work?

Most fish tanks would be way too big for my purposes. I'd rather not have many gallons (one gallon is bad enough) of not very nice chemicals slopping around.
Hence my attempt to use the smallest box I can get everything in that I might need to.

Any electroplating I've ever seen, they did it in two of the places I worked and used to go to pickup plating in another job, the anodes and work hung form the top of the tank, and were not clear out to the edges of the tank. This was to allow the dissolved material easy access from all sides of the anodes to all sides of the work being plated.

 

In this case the anodes are a close spaced series of vertical wires so the electrolyte will have easy access.

 

Perhaps hang electrodes on bus rails, so they are adjustable. Even with other containers.

Well, that would be shape-able. You could make it a couple mm large and shave it down with tools. I think I’d try to use a table-saw set to the angle of the slope, 5 degrees or whatever. Then run the framework along the fence and shave off half a mm at a pass. Maybe round the edge to match the bottom curve on a router table.

Ah yes, I remember not having one. Sometimes it’s the right tool for the job, and pretty tough to do without.
