Somebody called?

Hi Cruts! How are you? I was told by a friend in my university to look for you here. I am trying to build a phase locked loop, but I have no idea how to start other than that there should be an oscillator, a filter, and a phase detector? I think I need to know how to build a phase detector. Can you help me?

Thanks Cruts!!!

In this forum it's generally expected that you make a reasonable attempt at researching your own solution from readily available sources, then show what you've got before asking others to do the work for you.

If you just can't find anything at all, like if you don't know the right name or keyword to use when searching, you might ask for someone to recommend better search terms or even point you to good resources.

Asking someone to directly teach you from scratch is generally considered bad form.

Have you tried concepts and circuits from any of the existing application notes or tutorials? Here are a few examples:

Hi there. I am expecting that somebody here will do the work for me. I think this forum should consist of a range of workers, doing the work for us. So please everybody, do the work for me. OK?

Have a look in the links of the following page:

Bertus, what part of the TS quoted post didn't you understand? He doesn't want a link he wants you to give him a circuit and explanation.

Are you serious? If so, it does not matter what you think the forum should be.

Do you also go to Walmart and say "I think you should give me a free 60" TV?"

You go Bob
Just think if your parents were rich you could walk right through all this with high grades and someone here would probably build one for you (for the right price).
Here's you a phase locked loop, now go get yourself a "A" kick back and smile.
Don't worry about learning anything for yourself...... Much less trying!
They got a name for this but it escapes me now ?
