How to get stable DC 12-15V output from a AC bike alternator?

Hello guys, My bike (Honda Dream Neo 110) has an AC output for its headlights. But I want to install A DC headlight on it, so I have made a Full Wave bridge rectfier.
When I start the engine on idle condition it produces 22V DC and when I pull the throttle the output voltage goes up to 60V DC. And the output current is fluctuating between 2-3 Amp. But I need a stable output of 12-15V. I plan to use a 7812 regulator IC but its output current is too low. Help me guys, What should I do?

What is the Honda headlight voltage (ac)? I think it is 12V ac.

I think the DC you are getting is because there is no load. With a load, the voltage will drop back to about 20V.

Most of the voltage regulators will brake bat 60V or even 50V.
You can try a buck-boost DC-DC converter.
Look for a buck DC-DC converter.

Which DC head lights are you looking at?

GOOD LUCK!! Substituting an LED light will indeed be an interesting exercise. Is that change legal?? If it is a non-licensed bike, why worry.
AND, get a rechargeable battery, so the light can have a stable voltage. Then the generator can charge the battery and the lite will work for a while even if the engine dies out. And the battery does prevent the bulbs all burning out when the big Zener diode fails.

OR run in stealth mode: no lite, no reflectors, and nobody except yourself responsible for your safety. A flat black paint job and you are invisible, no longer a target! But it does add to how you must focus attention on driving.

Welcome to AAC!
In addition to not being able to source sufficient current, the maximum input voltage is 35V.

I recently bought a buck-boost regulator from AliExpress. Output current is 4A, but the input voltage is 32V max.

What country are you in? Is the modification you're contemplating legal?
Thanks for asking brother.I am from Bangladesh. And this modification is legal in my country.

thanks brother for asking.Yes,I measured the voltage without any load.I will let u know the voltage with a load(LED).And my stock headlight needs 12V(35W) ac.And I am going to use BS lightings W9 headlight(35W).

And this buck converter would be perfect for me.But it works under 40v only.

Brother I am form Bangladesh. And this modification is completely legal in my country.
Thanks for your kind words.
