Having had issues reading the PDF versions of the site on my Kindle and Android tablet devices (and other issues with the other ePub version(s) knocking around), I decided to roll my own.
I have written a script to dynamically generate Kindle versions of the textbooks published on this site from the HTML pages themselves.

Tried and tested on OS X, but will work on Linux with some tweaks I'd have thought.
Once the script has finished, opening the index.html for each volume with the excellent Calibre will give you options to convert.
