How to fix power plug with thin blades

Just pin config converter. I've tried on quite a few plugs. Most of my plugs are new because it's a new room.
Here is the simple, cheap, and easy fix, which is to use one of the 3-wire grounding your 2-wire adapters that we have available on the shiny blades, and then plug that adapter into the outlet. The fix is totally reversable and cheap.

As others have suggested, why mess around with adapters and custom modifications that could go dangerously wrong, unless there's no other way?

Do you have one of these on the back of the scope, or is the cord hard-wired in?

If so, just replace the cord with a new one:

If you don't have the socket to make cord replacement easy, just chop the existing plug off and put a whole new plug on the existing cord:

Yeah ill do the cut and paste.

In the meantime I found a different adaptor:

And it holds on better (although not perfectly).
