Q. Find the median of the given data: 13, 16, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 13, 14.

According to method
To find the median, the data should be arranged in order from least to greatest. If there is an even number of items in the data set, then the median is found by taking the mean (average) of the two middlemost numbers.

12,12,13,13,14,16,19
But these number are common how to solve?

To find the median number: Put all the numbers in numerical order. If there is an odd number of results, the median is the middle number. If there is an even number of results, the median will be the mean of the two central numbers.

Q:
find the median of the given data: 13, 16, 12, 14, 19, 12, 14, 13, 14.
A:
Step 1: arrange these numbers in order from least to greatest:
12, 12, 13, 13, 14, 14, 14, 16, 19
Step 2: there is an odd number of items (9 numbers here) so the median is the middle number (it is the fifth number here).
Median = 14
