How to disconnect this?

This is the directional pad circuitry for a Razer Tartarus V2 gamepad. The north directional switch stopped working. My plan is to buy a used one or slightly damaged one and harvest parts from it.

Please note the white strip that connects the D-Pad circuit to the main board. How does this come off? There was something similar to it which operated kind of like an old-school computer IEEE cable where you just pulled the "tape" like connector wires out of a small socket. This won't budge on either end.

Any suggestions?

Usually, to assemble, you would insert the ribbon cable and press down on the top of connector.
To remove, lift up the cover of the connector.

Thank you so much. I will try that. I have been thinking one should pry it up or pull the cable out.

I'll follow up soon.
