It is from the normal "type" - It has two connections - + and -

If i can discharge it quick and safe maybe would be good.

If not how much time to put away to full discharge?

The idea : want to sell the battery because it`s good and want to make it full charge and tell in my ad that it was charged "for couple of hours"

Discharge time depends on how much current for how long time,what's the capacity of the battery?

Hi,
First what is the voltage of that battery .given your 2900mah using ohms law you can get the value of resistance.

 

It's 3.85V, so a 3.3ohm 5W resistor will give you 1amp.

I can do that with every phone battery? Is there some recommended Current for discharging?
I think to purchase couple of resistances and can discharge every battery i have.

I will multiply the voltage and the current and calculate the minimum W the R should be.

 

IIRC, lithium cells will be irreversibly damaged if fully discharged (to 0 volts) and shouldn't be discharged below 3.0 volts. Long term storage voltage should be about 3.80 volts. YMMV
