How much current?
Do you need a circuit which will automatically stop when the battery voltage drops to some threshold value?
Will the timing be automatic or done manually?

So what kind of voltage and current are you talking about?
You need a power transistor, a load resistor,a voltage comparator, and a reference voltage. Turn off the power transistor using the output of the comparator when the expected voltage level is reached.
Something like this to start with?
Or buy one already made? http://www.all-battery.com/TenergyI...22_a_7c01444&gclid=COHpopfM9csCFY9ffgodr4YKpg
