I got this vero board today. Can somebody tell me how to cut this board in smaller pieces?

I'd use my 8" metal shear from Harbor Freight: If I didn't have it, I'd probably score and snap. Line up the score with the edge of a table to snap. With fiberglass perfboard, I would use a fine saw or metal shear. A heavy duty paper cutter also cuts stripboard, perfboard, and copper clad laminate.
