How do I get started on how to create a satellite TV system after knowing that integrated circuit chip is the brain and the lnb pcb board itself is the satellite signal receiving. I'm a visual learner and I don't know what physical materials are being used for programming the ic chips and the lnb pcb board.

In particular, how do you imagine you could decrypt an encoded signal to recreate the origina images? It is not as simple as building a receiver, although for the frequencies used that would still be a challenge.
