This has the same limitation as previous circuits: There is no rapid discharge path for the C2 charge if the cycle is terminated early by removing the 12 V supply. The voltage across C2 never reaches the Threshold trip point, so the Discharge output never comes on.

Check out post #17 and #18, I did have the same idea, but zapper convinced me to keep R1.
