Hello,

I'm working on a motor controller for a manual mill screw drive. It's from a Rockwell manual mill.

Here is the previous circuit:

Any recommendations for a new way to control the motor would be greatly appreciated. I would like to be able to build a module that will work in place of the above circuit components.

Do you want to replicate the circuitry including the switch gear, or do something else/more? Why do you need a 'new way' to control motor?

 

Looks like a Series wound Universal motor with reverse and speed control, using a Thyristor.

What do you have in mind?
