I recently went from using a projector in my classroom to a large flat screen TV. However there is no way to "Freeze" the image on the TV, so one can do other work on the computer. Freeze is a common feature on most projectors. The circuit can't be that difficult to engineer, yet I can't find a box commercially available that would perform this function when placed in line between the computer and the TV. So what I'm after are some ideas on how to make a box that has 1 HDMI input, a button and a circuit that would freeze and then release the image, and an HDMI output.
Yes there are other ways to work around this problem, but this is how I want to do it. Ideas?
