How to Adjust the Threshold Voltage of NMOS ?

I want to adjust the threshold voltage of NMOS from 0.5 V to 1.98 V. I am using a Visual TCAD. I already tried adjusting the gate length from 0.18 um to 0.36 um, but only the current increased when I plotted the I-V curve. I'm at a lost. XD Help me, please! :)
