How to add spacer to wall stepper bracket?

I'm looking in homedepot.com and Amazon for nylon spacers but I'm only finding circular ones. I guess I imagined you meant a rectangular or square spacer...

Just put the tubular spacers on the fixing screws between the bracket and the surface it is being mounted on. I also believe that the torque from that stepper motor will not be enough to raise the blind from it's lowest position. I suggest measuring the torque required using string and a spring balance and compare the measured value with the stepper motor specification. Another problem you may have is that with no power applied to the stepper motor the blind may continue to drop past the required lower position. If I was doing this I would use a worm reduction between the motor and the blind.

OK here is what it looks like:

The wooden board has 4 screws to the wall (which is chalkboard but 2 of the 4 screws are on a beam).

The stepper is mounted with 2 screws that go through the wood and into the wall.

I can report that it only works in one direction, downwards, due to gravity

I did previously try the motor with the coupler and curtain and it was indeed able to roll it up fine. I had someone hold one end of the blind up while I held the other end with the stepper and it worked.

The tubular spacers are fine! I use them between boards and between layers of plywood to protect wiring. The circular ones are exactly what I had in mind.
