I have some batteries that power up a circuit board. I want to add a fuse between the batteries and the circuit board, just in case the board pulls more current than it is supposed to. What kind of fuse do I get and how do I wire it?

You could use a regular glass fuse, a ptc fuse, neither of which will operate very quickly, or something more complicated. The fuse would be in series with the battery. What kind of fuse do I get and how do I wire it?
