How is the logical circuitry explanation a phone's battery is being charged while being discharged, ie. used and consumed it energy by the phone with 4 pins or 3 pins battery ?
As we know current is going only in one direction at one time.. thanks in advance.

Hi,
mostly phone battery if it used ( mobile phones/cell phone),an electronics circuit that partly controls and monitor the status of the battery.
Sometimes a sophisticated circuit design includes microcontroller.During battery is fully charge ,charger circuit is automatically disable.
And once nearly below the voltage limit, the charger circuit is again enable to start charging the battery.
We will not discuss the theory beyond the circuit.

Hi,

The *indication* the phone gives you might say that it is charging when it is really discharging because it may just detect the presence of a charging source. The truth is, it is either charging or discharging, or it is charging sometimes and discharging other times. It depends on the available charge current and the drain current.
If the charge current is high then it might be actually charging and the phone uses part of the charge current to run the phone, so part goes to the battery and part to the phone. If the charge current is not high enough then it will use the entire charge current plus some from the battery so the battery will be discharging.
This could change over time too depending on what function the phone is performing at the time.

To know if it is really charging or discharging on average, if you first check the battery level and then if you use the phone normally while it says it is charging, you can then check the battery level again some time later and see if the battery level reads higher or lower than before. If it is higher then you know it has charged, but if lower then you know it has really discharged. This may serve as a guide for how you want to use the phone in the future.

Why there's so many that kind of batteries get abused and swollen after the user has charged and operated the device that consumes it at the same time.
