For research I'm doing, it is possible to convert a cellular relay base station's radiation power intensity to a transmitted power from this cellular station?

 

How do you define radiation power intensity?

 

By joule per cubic meter (J/m^3) or by watt per steradian (W/sr) or watt per kilogram (W/kg)

 

To convert to power you need to know the antenna radiation pattern.

Then I don't see how you can calculate the power.

 

Wouldn't the amount of radiation "power" also have to do with the number of calls hitting the tower at the time of measurement?

 

Isn't "harvesting" power from a cell tower similar to harvesting power from high-voltage transmission lines? The latter is illegal in many countries. How about in the TS's country?
