Hello everybody, I'm trying to replicate an old PCB from a vintage audio receiver. How can I make the big trace areas as you can see in the screenshot? The screenshot shows a grayed out image with the old traces behind the new ones I'm making.
Polygons, or copper pours. PADS has both. The difference is that a copper pour can be assigned to a net, such as GND, and the software maintains connectivity even when parts and vias are moved around.
The greyed out areas are filled zones, (Add a Filled zone.) you can select any route or plane (power or ground),
Select the route & Draw the area you want to create a plane for.
