I would like to connect GLCD with my arduino uno using the data pins. Just like a traditional 16x2 LCD. I just want to run simple code like HELLO WORLD. I tried connecting it like the 16x2 LCD but it didnt work. How can I wire it up with the arduino. I just want to use it to display characters only.Thank you

The label on the GLCD, says 12864.. Google Search for that number.
