nice 1,used a lot in SSB/DSB ( sideband) transmissions.

 

if that's the same video I watched last night on youtube, the guy shows you how to make a good load tester also.

 

At audio range frequencies (with appropriate driving circuitry and bigger transformers) these make a wild effect for synth or guitar! Very growly and metallic.

Hey Alan!

That's really excellent! if you plan on doing a sequel, you might also want to show how you can get full AM by applying a DC bias to the LO port along with audio.
