I have an electronic dog training collar with an pulsing output (75pps) of 6.5kV @ 1.5mJ. I have an application (non-pet related) where I need the output increased to between 60 and 90mJ but the voltage must remain within +/- 10%. Furthermore, the supply for the amp has to be around 3VDC!!! Any ideas where to start?

 

Is the amp in the HV control loop/generation or in the Rx (receive) side of the collar ?
