I've tried stuff like having physical contact with hot(220v) just like an open circuit..
Was just thinking if this is possible without getting electrocuted so for as long as u dont come close to neutral or ground, can u also do same with high/ultra voltages

Don't forget that electrical energy travels through space. If you have significant capacitance in a possible circuit source of AC electrical energy then you become a possible current conductor even if you don't physically touch neutral or ground.

The little birdies have been known to perch on 400kV overhead power lines - but they don't look like much capacitance.

A document popped up somewhere claiming that America was giving DC distribution a try in the quest for 1MV.

You don't have to complete a circuit for CRT TV horizontal frequency pulses to get you. The arc can jump a fair distance too. Last on I got, I didn't feel a thing till I saw the burn.

"Ive tried stuff like having physical contact with hot (220v)" .........Do you have a death wish???? Well sure you may be ok as long as you don't complete a circuit to neutral/earth, but you are taking a huge and rather stupid risk by doing it. The higher the voltage, the greater the risk. In around 1975, a fellow engineer was working on a tv, turned it off, and removed the EHT connector. The inner and outer coatings of the crt make a good capacitor charged to 25 kV. this promptly discharged into his hand and caused him to fall, strike his head on a metal chair and DIE!!!!

Yeah..thanks bro...was just asking..didnt say I was gonna try that..
