Interesting brute-force approach to minimize roll on a small boat.
They are not cheap, as might be expected, going from $26,900 for the smallest model and maxing out at $210,000, plus installation. :eek:

Not as much brute force as I would use ....If I were designing it I would have the flywheel container bolted into the boat , no movement , axis vertical , this would stabilize totally , but put more stress on the hull ...

They have the flywheel rocking on gimbals and electronics controlling dampers ... very complex and expensive design ,and not as effective , this can only be to do things gently and not destroy the boat ...

Much better to design the boat to take the extra stress and fix the flywheel in ...
