I am looking for a better way to monitor the current draw from a high side fet. Currently I've been using ACS758-150 to monitor the current. These are large and expensive so I've been looking for cheaper and smaller ways to achieve the same. I've come across an IR25750 that looks like it would work in my application but I'd like a second opinion. I've attached my current FET and FET driver circuit.

 

IR25750 is not going to work for a high side switch.

The common terminal needs to be at ground.

 

In your application if using P mosfet is better than N mosfet.
You can try the new circuit that I modified, please check the blue color.
