Hi all

I am in search of a Power Amplifier (preferably Solid state pulsed amplifier ) which is able to output around 340 Vrms across 25 ohm impedance load (acoustic transducer operating at approx 4.5 KW) in pulsed mode with duty cycle less than 1%, maximum pulse length of 5 ms and operating frequency is in range of 400-500 KHz.

If any one knows about COTs power amplifiers meeting these requirements, kindly share with me.

Thanks & Regards
Nauman

My first choice here would be DE375 or even DE475 or halfbridge or full bridge of DE275 (very advanced and well elaborated case-style).
The second choice would be IXFH42N60 (ordinary TO248, and well cheaper)

Both 600V, both capable for 30-40V on gate, all sth about few kW in thermal flux, and max frequencies are 275=40 MHz, 375=27 MHz, 475=13,56 MHz, 42N=70 MHz. Thus no expected problems with `needles`.

The typical circuitry of corresponding amplifier is given at 275 and 375 Application Notes, including even the PCB tracing. The strangest is that it even works, true distant from many other high freq circuits.
