Hi everyone,

I would like to ask for some help.

I am trying to program my PIC18F4550 with the microchip bootloader that comes with the newest MLA. The problem with that bootloader is that, to compile it, we need the PRO Version of the XC8 compiler.

Does anyone has any experience with this bootloader?

I don't use MLA but what is the specific problem that requires XC8 Pro? Code size?
