hi everyone, hope all is good.
I’d like to ask a few questions in regards to a project I’m working on. Let me start by saying that I’m an amateur in electronics so any help is welcomed.
Looking at the circuit in picture, how can I add a VGA video interface as input?
The chip in question is CXB1457R.
Can I just take the VGA output (pins) and connect Red to R7, Blue to B7, Green to G7, H and V sync to their respective pins on the chip?

 

First you need to read the description of this IC from the data sheet to determine what the IC is intended to do. Mostly such devices produce a VGA compatible OUTPUT SIGNAL given the digital inputs. It will not work in the opposite direction
