Hi, i have this Homework and its just 1 problem (out of 15) that i cannot do. if someone could help me i would really appreciate it!!:

I have to find both C and R values so that the max transfer of power goes to R and also whats the value of that power.

Thanks in advance .

Regards,
Benjamin

i didn't tried that so thanks for that, but what i don't really know its how to get the C and the R value out of the Thevenin its a bit confusing.. and my teacher never explained that :mad::mad:

Try assuming the resistor values are identical and see if you can put Z(inductor) = Z(capacitor) without using some ridiculous value for C.

I got it already, i just had to find the Zeq, to find the R for the MTP and it was the parallel of the R and XC not just (R - JX) right away, so from the start i got it wrong by adding the impedance and the resistor like if they were in series, therefore, everything after that would be wrong, including the thevenin.
