Help Powering a Delta PWM Fan

Hello,

The extra wire on the fan is an output to measure the speed.
Taken from the given info PDF, with some comments I made:

Bertus interesting, hmm reason why I posted is because the fan does not turn on when +12v is applied to it (red/black)

Which is why I was thinking it needed that pull up.

Hello,

What did you use for powersupply?
Did you use the correct polarity?
Black - and red +.
Blue F00 output (needs pull-up to see signal).

For quick initial testing(see if it spins) I am using a car battery (12v) Yes correct polarity was used, I ordered a replacement fan, mine may be defective, it should be here early next week.

So I just looked at the fan I have and just relized its not the same exact one as the one on Digikey

It ends with AA03 not AF00

BFB0712HH-AA03 which that designation is not listed in that manual Ill have to dig deeper
