I am very new and don't really know if i'm posting in the right place, but this component comes from a power supply so... I'll post it here.
My first thought was that it is a transistor, but it is completely blank with no writing so i'm asking for some advice... I'm a complete noob so...15082745394351105497995.jpg 15082745915501484275014.jpg

No way to identify it unfortunately.

What power supply is it from?

A schematic may be available.
It is some old made in china 12 to 24V 100W power supply bought from one of those cheap stores... It doesn't even have a brand.... Well... I guess it's useless then.... Thanks for the answer!

Trace the circuit around the defective device and post a schematic. If we can't guess at what it is, we'll ask for more of the circuit until we can.

I'm not really hoping to get it back working again, there were a couple of components completely blown and here in italy finding electronic components is near to impossible. Just was curious about that element i showed in the first photo.

What you have there is a switchmode psu, can you show where the item is located on the pcb, chances are its a mosfet or dual diode.
