Real simple. You need to know the power requirements of your eBike What are they?

If you have any warranty left on the bike then I am guessing it will not be covered unless you buy the manufacturer's charger.

As you said in your post..

Li-on 36V 2A charger is what you need, so get one that fits that spec, with the input voltage for your country.

2A Charger for 36V Li-ion/Li-Po Battery in Plastic Case Ebike Charger
Looks like this will fit?

I just found an E-bike store that sells a generic charger for double the one. Think there is any difference?

Thanks for any and all help. If you have questions on expedition hiking, & beginner or advanced snowboarding, or cool mountain towns in the USA I may be able to help ya... I guess you guys really dig this electrical stuff. I'm just trying to make my broken things work.

Either charger would do the job, just a matter of deciding if the difference in price is worth waiting on the one shipped from China. I have had good luck with ordering direct from China, but have to be careful in knowing what you are buying and be willing to wait a couple weeks or more for it to get to you.
