what i would like to do is to try to design the Current Transformer for Power System applications.

Specification:

100A:60mA current ratio.

Pls help me to design the CT with Toroidal core.

Is=66mA
Np=1Turn
Ns=1500Turns
frequency=50Hz


My doubt is to choose the Proper Torroid for the Design.
Give me some solution.

I suggest that you read through it. There is a good bit of material presented.

Most of the battle in designing such things is just knowing where to find the documentation.

 

I will do mmf, Flux density, Secondary emf calculations.
I could't calculate the Required toroidal area and circumference, H and AL value using this data to choose the Toroid.

Still i have doubt in choosing the 50HZ application Toroids.
