help identify IR TSOP model from picture

I have a IR TSOP from an old Sony device's front panel, try to identify model number so I can use it in a project
3 pins, +VCC, GND, SIGNAL
see attached picture
what I can read: 138 351C A329

yes, it has a lens in front, as wide and long as the body
see attached picture
I started investigate the PCB it was removed, looks like #2 pin was connected to GND
maybe it is a same pinout as a common 1838.......#1 OUT #2 GND #3 +VCC

I agree. The important thing is to identify ground, as when GND and VSS are reversed, applying VSS to ground is a big problem.

Pins down, lens up, from what little I have, Vishay & Sharp left side, pin 1 = out, pin 2, center ground, right, pin 3 + supp.; Siemens , pin 1 = +V, 2 ground, 3 out.
Found that Siemens SFH505A has straight legs.

The point I was making is that if you have ground right, swapping Vcc and output makes much less difference. If you want to be conservative, put a 100 Ω. resistor in series with Vcc.
