I need to find a replacement for the component identified in the picture.
It says R033 on it.

I've been looking for a few hours now on mouser , ebay and google and just can't find any SMD resistor that is 0.033 ohms and solder on the long edge in 0.20"x0.10" (2010) size.

Any idea where I can find that puppy or what I could replace it with?

Hmmm, I thought I had an answer for you but now I see the nub of your problem - you need solder on the long dimension, not the short.

 

I think I finally got it. seems to be a panasonic chip.

The problem was that mouser.com search isn't working properly and not finding it when using the filters
