Hello world! I have a particular question that i hope i can get help and in the process learn something new! I have a car alarm system in the pictures below. As you can see the first picture there is an sw1 power switch and next to it should be a sw2 switch but it was rip off by someone evil. Who ever did that sabotage my car alarm and without that switch its $220 down the toilet. All i know is that the switch looks similar to the sw1 with the exception it had a white box instead of metallic. Now to me it looks like a simple buy an sw2 switch and solder the two points and voila? If anyone can point me the right way or help me find such switch i would be grateful!

What does SW2 do actually? Since alarm controllers are usually designed to be tucked away where you can't easily get to them I would guess SW2 is something that wouldn't be switched on a regular basis. Would it be possible to just jumper the connections for SW2 and call it good?

It depends totally on what that "SW2" is intended to do. So you will need to read the installation instructions to discover that. AND, because it would be set either one way or the other at installation, a small loop of wire could substitute for the switch, and be cut if the switch off was the choice. A cheap and easy solution to the problem.

After a closer examination of the pictures, it does not look like "S2" even connects to anything. On the bottom there are no traces to any holes, and on the top I see not much. It may be that the silkscreen is for multiple models and your version may not even have an S2 in the circuit. I doubt that there would be one through-hole switch and one surface mount switch.
