Greetings, does anyone have any links, schematics, or documents on how to create a beginner amplifier for headphones or radio?

"or Radio"
What does that mean ?
How much power do You expect ?
What will You use to Power the Amp ?

Generally it only takes selecting an appropriate Chip,
unless You are adventurous and want to build something from scratch.

yes. i am adventurous and i would like to build one from scratch. and in fact, i meant to write microphone pre amp. now, i am glad you asked those questions, because i would like to know what other questions i must ask myself if i would like to design a microphone pre amp.

"" ......... is there a difference in designing an amp from a preamp? ""
Yes,
You have "Power-Amplifiers" which are meant to drive Speakers, ( or Headphones ),
then there are "Pre-Amps" which provide "Control" over different aspects of the sound and
provide specialized Inputs.

How much Fidelity are You expecting ?
What kind of features do You want, ( Tone-Controls, Phono or Microphone Inputs, etc. ).
What will be the desired power supply source ?

( Mid-Post update ....... )
What type of Microphone ?
Do You already have one ?, or do You need help selecting the best type ?
What will it be used for ?

Ok thanks. so the correct answer is preAmp, and i would like tone control(Microphone Inputs)
the desired power supply will be from a wall 12v adapter

i already have a microphone i would like to use. its the telefunkin 251
and it will be used for recording vocals mostly, and instruments

What are You doing with an ~$1100.oo Microphone, and no clue how to use it ?
Sell it on Ebay and get something more appropriate for your needs.

It's not magic, as the gurus would have You believe,
and if You don't have a properly treated and equipped Recording-Studio-Environment to use it in
it's just a tragic waste of a historic "collectible".

You will be severely chastised by "the purist Microphone snobs" if You
pair this Microphone with anything that's not at least ~50-years-old and has Tubes in it.

the reason i have that microphone is because i am a music engineer. i have two music studios and a billboard award. now is the time that i would like to increase my knowledge and skill on soundwaves and how its used in electronics.

to put that mic on ebay is suicide. i should chastise you for even writing that. lol but fear not, i am only here to learn

The first place to start is with every bit of Electrical information
that You can find on this particular "version" of this Microphone.

Does it have the original Interface-Box,
or will it require "Phantom-Power",
( and exactly which "version" of "Phantom-Power", there are at least ~3 that have been used ).

Building an excellent Pre-Amp for it is not that difficult of a project,
with Schematics / Spec-Sheets, etc.,
but it really should be plugged into a compatible Mixing-Console.

If it's more than ~20-years-old, it really should have all Capacitors replaced and
have it's operation and performance carefully tested and verified before use.
They DO degrade over time.

yes, it has its own interface box, and yes, i would like the design of the pre amp to have +48V of phantom power

Nobody can hear 0-16hz !!!
And, there's no such thing as "0"-Hertz .

You would be far better-off purchasing some basic Beringer-brand-Equipment and learn how to use it.

DIY stuff is for special applications where Commercially-viable-units just don't have the
features or format that You need for a particular project.
One major exception to this is Speakers,
which can be DIY-made better than most Commercial-Speakers.

I can't wrap my head around why You want to build
a DIY Pre-Amp for an ~$1100.oo "collectible" Vintage-Microphone which may not even work.
What would You do with it after the Microphone has been properly refurbished and checked-out, ( $$$ ),
and the Pre-Amp is functional ?????

You can't even start without an accurate Schematic and Specification-Sheet.

There are hundreds of much more practical Microphones that are dirt-cheap, and just work.

A 5-Band-EQ will have limited utility in a Recording-Studio environment.
A 5-Band-Parametric-EQ "might" be a bit useful in some circumstances.

im not doing the diy pre amp for that mic, you asked what mic i have, but that is the main mic i use for my clients. so there is no need to wrap your head around that.

as far as equipment, i have mostly analog gear, teletronix la2a, neive 1073 along with some universal audio gear. now i would like to create my own

and the frequency range for the 5 band eq would be 0-16khz

MaxMichaels is finding circuits on the web that are full of errors.
The equalizer circuit originated by a student on the other side of the world then it was copied (plagiarized) by another student in USA with the same text and errors.
Hee, hee. This headphones amplifier wrongly has two resistors listed in micro-Farads or with extremely low resistances.

If the students cannot bother looking at datasheet circuits then the circuits from the students should never be used.

Sorry, MaxMichaels, I see that you did not copy this headphones amplifier, instead it was recommended by Dodgydave who might be a student who did not look at the datasheet.
