Hi all
I am experiencing a peculiar problem with my 8 year old Panasonic Plasma TV(model: P42XT50D). The satellite box was connected via HDMI and worked fine until recently. Now all i see is a blank screen and HDMI written on the left hand side of the screen. Connected the DTH box with RCA cables and the signal works fine but get a 4:3 image with black pillar box since the signal is now downgraded due to cable limitation to standard definition. Tried connecting the HDMI to a laptop and the laptop seems to detect the screen but there is no display on the TV. The laptop shows the second screen as Panasonic TV. Tried changing to known good cables and tested both the HDMI ports on the TV. The result is the same. Could some one please shed some light on what could be happening and how i could possibly fix this. All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Sam
