hi, this me again need your valuable aids. Im just inquiring if you can help me answering the following unanswered question:

it is observed that when the squirrel cage induction motot rotates without load the reactive power exceeds the active power, what does this reveal?

If I'm being honest I don't know the answer to your question as I have never really looked at Squirrel Cage Induction Motors. I posted you a link on your original question I take it that didn't help?

The answer is it relates to an aluminium cage that is in the stator (central rotating part)
This is used as part of a magnetic field that is used to follow the field produced in the windings of the motor. This relates to an AC motor only as the feild in a dc motor is set by coils and current.
