That's it! We'll just mix up 5 gallons of Lucite and pour it right on there Might want to burn it in for a few weeks first, though...

 

Well, put in my order yesterday evening for some LM1877N's; Jameco had the best price on 'em. I ordered some other IC's which I think will also work; not quite the power, but half the price

Stopped by my favorite electronics store this afternoon. Holy cow, they had some HUGE double-sided copper clad boards that were thick enough to be table tops by themselves! These boards are so thick that DIPs and SIPs are barely long enough to poke through the boards.

 

Probably worth buying for the copper alone.
