Hi guys. I've been pinching some of the monthly hamburger money, and I want to buy a new toy.

I have never owned a digital scope before, but this one hit my fancy.

Has anybody here used one of these? Or heard anything bad about them?

Just kidding of course.
I have heard that they are "ok" as i thought about getting one in the past too. Right now all i have is a cheap analog CRT type scope.
Make sure you get probes with it.

 

I saw those and they look very nice.. Most people will recommend the Rigol DS1054Z scope.. I know someone on here got one not to long ago.. The best advice would to be try Google for reviews on the scope or try EEvblog because most of those guys can give you a somewhat honset opinion or option ..

 

That's the one I bought a few months back.
It comes on and reads a 10k square wave ok, but I haven't had a chance to really use it yet.
