How to test the low side mosfet by making the high side mosfet off with the schematic in picture using an Ic of bootstrap?
I am asking because i have a short circuit and I don't know why

 

So you want the high side fet to be off? Simply diconnect its Rg and conect the gate to source.

You cannot test only the low side ,its a complementary of the other.
Since this is an IC, direct replacement the least you can do.The cause of the short circuit depends to your load.

I am connecting my load between the low side drain and the 20v supply to the inverter. The load is a 22 ohm resistor rated 25 watts.Is this connection ok ?

 

Why do you need a half H bridge? Can you not just use a single FET (Q2) to switch your load to ground?
