I have an ASUS Transformer Prime TF201 tablet. These things are famous for extremely poor wifi and GPS reception.
I fixed the wifi problem by attaching a wire to the internal wifi antenna and extending it outside the case. Now the reception is good. I am wondering whether this would work with the GPS.
If I try this, what's a good length for a GPS antenna?
ASUS offers a dongle, but I am not interested in it. People say it performs badly, and I am told it blocks the USB port.
