The car looks like a Porsche. It hit the pole just behind the passenger's seat.
The pole is also very strong to survive.

A Lamborghini raced across a bridge near my home then hit a pole but it burst into flames. Two deaths. The car owner was an Asian university student and his mansion had a Ferrari and another expensive sports car.

The city recently reduced the speed limit past a nearby school to 30kmh. A neighbour and his wife both got speeding tickets of $250. I can run faster on my feet and get no ticket.

Yes but the local police aren't clocking you running, they are clocking moto vehicles.

I forgot to say that the stainless steel wire holding my hernias together sets off a metal and radar detector when I run fast.

I was caught speeding in my car by photo radar. I went to court and they thought I was armed because the wire in me was detected. I showed the color photo to the judge and asked, "Your honour, there are many cars in this photo and maybe one is speeding. Which car is mine?". Case dismissed. :D

Wife has a metal femur bone. One very large chunk of metal. They just wand her and let her pass.

Are replacement bones made of non-magnetic aluminum?
I'm not sure. They seem to like materials like stainless steel and titanium. She does have a card issued by her oncologist. Never even needed it. Boarding a plane she sets the metal detector off, she steps aside and they run a wand over her right hip down to her knee and wave her through. They are happy, she is happy and things go on. They replaced knee, femur and partial hip in a 9 hour surgery. Whatever they did 3 years ago seems to have worked. There was over a year rehab and she uses a cane and walker but it beats losing a leg. Back on topic of glad I'm not a passenger. :)

“Brookside is a poster child for policing for profit,” said Carla Crowder, the director of Alabama Appleseed Center for Law & Justice, a nonprofit devoted to justice and equity. “We are not safer because of it.”

Brookside now faces at least five lawsuits. Advocates for justice reform, cops in other jurisdictions, even Jefferson County’s top law enforcement officials, have begun to question the town’s tactics, and its need for an expanding force.

Ha. When the national 55mph speed limit was repealed all those years ago, Texas raised limits statewide to what they were in the pre-55 days. Small towns all over rural Texas screamed foul at the lost revenues. Some even had to raise taxes to survive.

We have our own Lindale, Ohio. Literally a few square miles with a few hundred feet of Interstate Highway running through it. Heck, their cops need to get On ? Off the interstate using exit and entry ramps in another town. A few square miles of nothing.
