I want to generate 3.3V dc volatge from only line signal 220V. I have a circuit but I don't understand principle operation. I attached file schematic.
does anyone explain about principle operation?

Are you connected 220V AC directly to your circuit without going through a transformer? I am afraid this thread would be closed because we're not allow to discuss mains without step down or isolation transformers.
