Those of us who grew up in the 1960's owe this man a great deal. He was one of the giants on whose shoulders we stand.

I wasn't aware that he was the guy who coined the term FUD. Like many greats, he started out with an "establishment" company and "rebelled." He helped build IBM and then competed with it.

Much like Tesla.

 

Good old Fear Uncertainty and Doubt
Allowing the the V470 to be a S/360 clone set the stage for the 1981 introduction of the PC and the cloning of that machine.
