Gate Driver Circuit for MOSFET

much needed help !

I am Implementing Boost Converter. I just want to know how much distance (max and min) should i place my driver circuit to fire the MOSFET in the boost converter.

Microcontroller -------> GATE Driver --------> MOSFET.​

is there any relation for selecting the distance among themselves.

one more clarification can i use twisted cable or a coaxial cable for the signal.

A lot has to do with the switching frequency. The higher the frequency, the closer they will have to be, to avoid ringing and EMI.

The one distance that really has to be kept very short is the one between the Mosfet’s gate and the IC driver. High di/dt pulses with inductance and feeding into a capacitive load, are a recipe for disaster.

I am using a 25KHz switching frequency I kept the separation around 2 ft.
will this work?
