I would like to add a brand new input to this controller. I want to add an extra button.
I have been trying to see if this is possible, but I have not found any good information.

I would appreciate some help with this.

 

The black blob in the center is a custom IC that is being used as the controller.

I doubt that it can support another button.

What is this desired extra button to be used for? If it’s to be a button to replicate an existing button, you may have a chance.

Otherwise, as the saying goes, you’re SOL.

I needed to map a new input as a hot button for emulator. Thanks for your input.
